Have you got an iPhone?
Chances are you’ve already caught on to what some describe as the Photography version of Facebook; Instagram… have you heard of it?
Well for those of you who haven’t, Instagram is an app you can download from your Apple iPhone and instead of status updating your thoughts and things you get up to everyday, Instagram gives you the chance to upload photos. The beauty of Instagram is that it offers a great range of filters. These filters range from your classic black and white, to vintage borders, vignettes, washed out tones to high contrast tones. It instantly makes your picture into little works of art just by a click of the button. Makes you wonder if this is where digital photography is headed in the coming years.
Perhaps this will be the death of Photoshop and the rise of a new instantaneous way of editing our digital photographs. Either way, I am excited to see what’s in store for us in the not too distant future.
